Horizon Line.. Where the Simplicity of the Earth Dissolves into Contemporary Luxury.

In curated luxury spaces, beauty is not measured by the loudness of details, but by the quiet power of an object to define the architecture around it. The Roots – Horizon reception tray—proudly presented by M Art Gallery—acts as a silent visual greeting, embodying the clean, continuous, and sleek lines of a dusk horizon.

Every single piece is meticulously hand-sculpted from a single, solid block of premium dark walnut wood. The organic, undulating grains tell the decades-long story of a tree grown in the heart of nature. The design features a dramatic, eye-catching contrast: sharply beveled outer edges that mirror modern architectural geometry, flanking a center cavity carved so smoothly it feels hollowed by cascading river waters.

The tray floats elegantly on geometric bases, creating a precise shadow line that amplifies its presence as an independent sculpture. While it acts as a striking canvas at entryways for high-end essentials like luxury timepieces, eyewear, and keys, Roots – Horizon transitions seamlessly into an exquisite centerpiece for living spaces. Its fluid cavity is perfectly proportioned to hold artisanal scented candles, polished stones, or delicate dried botanicals, casting a warm, serene glow across reception consoles or scenic breakfast tables. This is not a mere functional tray; it is an aesthetic statement that elevates whatever rests upon it.

بروتوكول العناية والتنظيف والتخزين

Natural timber is a living, breathing material that reacts to its surrounding atmosphere. To preserve the pristine condition of your Horizon tray for generations, please observe the following museum-grade care protocol:

Daily Maintenance: Wipe the surface gently with a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth to remove dust.
Food & Moisture Exposure: If utilized as a charcuterie board for cheeses or fruits, clean immediately after use with a damp cloth, warm water, and a drop of ultra-mild, chemical-free soap. Dry immediately with a soft towel and let it air-dry vertically to prevent moisture retention.
Strict Prohibitions:
- Never submerge the wooden tray in water or place it inside a commercial dishwasher.
- Avoid coarse sponges, steel wool, or abrasive scouring pads, as they will compromise the satin-matte protective barrier.
Artisanal Reconditioning: To maintain the rich wood depth and protect it from drying, we recommend reapplying a thin layer of food-grade mineral oil or organic beeswax every 3 to 6 months. Allow the timber to absorb it overnight, then buff off any excess with a clean cotton rag.
Environmental Placement: Position away from continuous direct sunlight, fireplaces, or intense air conditioning vents to prevent natural warping, expanding, or splitting.

Lifetime Aftercare & Restoration Services

Our commitment to our objects does not end at checkout. M Art Gallery offers premium, long-term maintenance for all Roots creations:

Annual Refurbishment Service: Collectors are invited to send their tray back to our workshops once a year for professional re-planing, sanding, and conditioning to restore its original luster (nominal round-trip art handling fees apply).
Damage Restoration: In the event of deep scratches, stains, or impact chips from accidents, our master woodcarvers will evaluate, treat, and structurally restore the piece while preserving its native artistic geometry.

Exchange, Return & Fine Art Withdrawal Policy

The Right of Aesthetic Reflection: Because we understand that true art appreciation requires seeing an object interact with your architectural space, M Art Gallery allows returns or exchanges within 48 hours of verified delivery. The item must be absolutely unused, unexposed to food/liquids, nestled in its original luxury packaging, and accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity.
Bespoke Exemptions: This policy strictly excludes custom-made pieces, custom-dimensioned horizons, or items customized with family crests or personalized engravings.

Fine Art Shipping, Handling & Transit Damage Policy

In-Transit Liability: M Art Gallery fully guarantees the safety of your art piece from our studio to your signature. Every shipment is fully insured against theft, loss, or physical impact damage during transit.
Inspection Protocol: The recipient must inspect the package and the object immediately upon delivery in the presence of the courier. Any transit damage (such as structural cracking or deep impact scoring) must be documented directly on the delivery receipt. Contact our concierge desk within 24 hours with photographic evidence to initiate an immediate recall and priority replacement at zero additional cost.

Can I burn a candle directly on the wood of the Horizon tray?

While the tray is perfect for holding container candles (such as glass jars or ceramic vessels) and dried botanicals, we strictly advise against letting open flames or raw melting candle wax drip directly onto the raw walnut wood. This prevents soot stains and protects the organic wax finishing layer.

Does the color of the dark walnut wood evolve over time?

Yes. Premium solid walnut develops a rich, deep, and warmer patina over the years. As its natural fibers interact with ambient lighting and ambient oils, the wood becomes more striking and spiritually integrated into your home.

Will the elevated geometric feet scratch delicate stone or glass tables?

Not at all. The solid wood bases are engineered using structural joinery for flawless balance. Additionally, we apply an ultra-thin, completely concealed layer of protective high-grade velvet padding beneath each foot to ensure your rare marble, quartz, or glass console surfaces remain completely free of friction marks.
